Emerging Schools
NHA is keen to support the growth of hockey amongst young players, especially in Emerging Schools. We know that there are areas of strong activity in the county - a South Norfolk schools league and strong school networks in West and North Norfolk due to stirling work by teachers. If you want to get hockey going in your school, NHA can supply a coach to give some taster sessions and can link you up with your local club. Let us know what you are doing in your school.
To provide more competitive opportunities, NHA ran its first Emerging Schools mixed U15 7 a-side tournament in October 2019 at UEA sponsored by
TC Improvements.
It was a fantastic day and then great to see players joining clubs and the Norfolk Player Pathway.
Unfortunately, the U13 and Primary Quicksticks tournaments had to be cancelled because of the Corona virus outbreak but we hope to be up and running for the 20-21 season. If you would like to be involved, please get back to us.
